Vishal has 15+ years of extensive experience in Data Science and Analytics and is currently leading a global team at Amazon that helps increase seller trust on Amazon platform using data and AI-enabled solutions.
Vishal has rich experience of building teams from scratch and driving initiatives through large scale data and AI systems across a wide variety of use cases such as risk, fraud, customer engagement and customer experience. Some of these initiatives have helped save potential loss of >$75M and drive incremental revenue of more than $50M.
He is passionate about possibilities of AI and engages in pro-bono capacity with multiple startups, industry associations and academia on building frameworks for AI systems such as system design, data and model governance, ethical AI and open source AI.
Vishal did his MBA from IIM, Mumbai and bachelors in Computer Science from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, Delhi. Prior to his current role, he has worked with companies such as American Express and Zee5.
