Vineet Srivastava is the Head of Detection Engineering and Associate Director of Cyber Threat Detection and Content Development at GSK. With nearly two decades of experience in cybersecurity, he leads a global team of Threat Detection Engineers and Data Scientists responsible for developing and refining detection use cases, rules, and content to proactively defend GSK against internal and external threats. His work lies at the intersection of detection engineering, AI security, data science, and applied threat intelligence.
Prior to GSK, Vineet held leadership roles at IBM, where he served as the Security Specialty CSM Architect for Customer Success. There, he supported IBM Security product adoption across South Asia and led cross-regional collaborations in APAC, Europe, and the US. At Nokia, as Deputy General Manager for Managed Security Services, he led Security Intelligence & Operations (SIOC) initiatives for major telecom clients transitioning to 5G networks.
Vineet also brings rich consulting experience from his time at KPMG and PwC. At KPMG, he headed the Global SOC practice, overseeing 60+ CR ABR from 150+ member firms. At PwC, he led the North India cybersecurity advisory practice, including the Cyber Protection Center.
His strengths include cybersecurity strategy, SOC operations, incident response, and large-scale detection engineering leadership.
