Ashish Tiwari currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Head of Big Data Development and Platform at Axis Bank, based in Bengaluru, India. Ashish has led high-performing teams as a Solution Architect and Data Architect, guiding end-to-end design and implementation of data solutions tailored to business needs.
In this leadership role, Ashish spearheads the bank’s big data initiatives, focusing on the development of scalable, secure, and compliant data platforms. His expertise also spans data protection and compliance, ETL processes, Snowflake, data cataloging, business data glossary development, data governance, and master data management.
He possesses hands-on experience with AWS Cloud, Azure, Snowflake, Talend, Qlik Replicate, Qlik Sense, Qlik Catalog, Cloudera, and Hortonworks big data distributions.
His technical proficiency includes database architecture across RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB, Elasticsearch), as well as big data platform setup, Python, Java, microservices, and REST APIs.
Ashish is also adept at implementing agile methodologies, having led teams as a Scrum Master and Product Owner, ensuring adaptability and continuous improvement throughout project lifecycles.
