Vineet Govil is a coach and mentor with three decades of experience across mobile, telecommunications, EdTech, media, and entertainment. As the Chief Technology and Product Officer (CTPO) at PhysicsWallah (PW), he drives technology expansion and product innovation. Under his leadership, PW took its first steps towards leveraging the power of AI in Education with the launch of the Alakh AI education suite in early 2024. This suite leverages advanced AI language models to power offerings like AI Guru and the Smart Doubt Engine, enhancing the learning experience both inside and beyond the classroom.
Previously, as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Viacom18 Digital Venture, Vineet played a key role in building one of India's prominent OTT platforms. Before that, as Head and Vice President of Sling Media India (a fully owned subsidiary of Dish Network Inc., USA), he oversaw operations, engineering, strategy, and growth, focusing on fostering a culture of innovation and product development.
With deep technical expertise, Vineet is particularly interested in content creation and consumption trends, GenAI, EdTech, OTT, streaming, cloud computing, AI/ML, consumer electronics, IoT, and automotive technology. He is passionate about transforming ideas into tangible products and has a strong grasp of market dynamics and the complexities of modern product design.
