Amit Kapur is the Vice President of Data Analytics and Insights, Platforms at Lowe’s. As a part of the global technology leadership team, Amit is responsible for strategizing & building data platform tools at scale for Lowe’s on data analytics, data science, & computer vision.
Amit is a seasoned technology industry leader with extensive experience in retail, consulting and IT services. In his previous role with Lowe’s, he built Omni Order Management capability from the ground-up to power Lowe’s business. Amit was instrumental in setting up the Lowe’s centre in Bangalore and has a strong data, product and engineering background.
Prior to joining Lowe’s, he was delivery head with Sony and held leadership roles at Oracle, I-Gate and Ispat. He pursued his Bachelor of Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Surathkal and his MBA from IMT Ghaziabad.
